rode in before they disappeared. erica rakow is there to walk us through what is supposed to happen today. >>reporter: all things point towards it being the couple missing for days but it's here at the ma'am me's office where the autopsies will be done today, something that has to get done before police officially con tim they are the ones found. this is what we're talking about, a young couple from miami who were last s sn leaving the town and country shopping center earlysunday morning. friend an family had spent the last few days posting these pictures of them along with the posters of the missing couple. a ping from cell phones to a towerer led police to this lake where aed toyota corolla was found, the same type ofcar that the couple was said to be in. it looks like the car crashed through a guardrail at an

ending up in the water. police did confirm the car they found belongs to the missing couple. dozens of family and friends gathered all day long at the lake watching the recovery, realizing the hope they had been holding on to since sunday was dwindling. coming up at 5:30 we're going to hear fm some of those family and friends who described the pain a put into words why this is so difficult. for now we're live at the medical examiner's office, erica rakow, local 10 news. a u.n. human rights panel has ruled in favor of wikileaks founder giulianiian assange saying he d deserves compensation for being deprived of his liberty. swedish prosecutors wt to question him. prosecutors say they will not file charges against a police officer who killed a man last

hall's family pushed for the officer to be charged but prosecutors say the force was justified. right now two new york city police officers are expected to recover after being shot by a gunman who then later killed himself. it happened in the bronx last night. one person pulled out a gun and shot at the officers before shooting him. the other person was taken into custody. a fume will be held in utah today for one of the protestors who seized a federal wildlife refuge in oregon. he was killed by the fbi during a confrontation with the fbi. the fbi released this video of the confrontation. his supporters calling his death an ambush. a six yearly boy recovering from his injuries after getting hit by a police officer on wednesday afternoon.

anywhere between 20 and 25 miles per hour with wind gusts in the 30s. not a good day to get on the boat. currently a temperature of 63 degrees. 62 in kendall. 63 in homestead. 66 in marathon. wi the winds out of the north west, that will be the cool air connection starting to settle into south florida the next few hours. you're definitely going to need the sweater and cket all day long. wind gusts even stronger and that's allowing for some cool air to settle in already. our temperatures have dropped between 9 and 12 degrees cooler than what we woke up to yesterday. wind gusts reported in the 20s and 30s down by the keys and we're expecting that strong breeze to factor in a wind chill as we go into the end of the weekend and early next week. which can out where it is definitely chilly, the 30s and 40s across the panhandle. it will get there. so the leading edge of all those showersrs and storms have pushed well

we did have lingering moisture down by the keys and the actual front itself is moving through the area as we speak. otherwise all the thick cloud cover will continue to push towards the south with cloudy skies in place today and that strong breeze thank to high pressure. temperature right now in the 20s, 30s across parts of the nation, much of the nation. look at atlanta waking up to the 30s. that cold air will eventually move, settling across south florida due to a reinforcing shot. today much cooler. we are expecting cloudy skies and windy conditions. tomorrow cloudy skies return to the forecast especially going into saturday night and sunday morning.. then a reinforcing shot of cololr air delivers. so the weekend lookingng cool, windy, we will see that chance of showers again saturday night into sunday morning, then that secondary fronon clears and temperatures only reaching the mid 90s

deputy and onene person had to be taken to broward county. you have a black dodge charger here, a silver mazda 6 and right there in the middle you can see that broward county sheriff' deputy patrol car. no way to tell which car was going where or who was at fault. you can see there are a number of people who were involved in this accident still on scene here. we were here earlier when two women were transportationed by a medic. i overheard them on the phone talking to some people complaining of some head pain. we want to take y y to some video. we're n n exactly sure who is at fault or which direction any of these cars were going but we do know there's serious damage to the front end of the vehicles. we know there's air bags deployed here and deputies and ft. lauderdale pole have been on scene here for well over an hour and a half just trying to situation. we also have video over

good morning. a wendy's restaurant in phoenix now all boarded up after it was the target of a bizarre hoax. a caller convinced the store manager to break all the restaurant's windows. police say the caller called the manageerso turn on the fire suppreion industry. to make matters worse, this may be a trend. earlier this week a similar situation at a jack in the box and in california. a caller claimed the store would explode if he did not. police say they are investstating all this. right now the american heart association released this ad asking women to wear red today. they say one in three women dies from heart
